Saturday October 9th.
We are all girls! And of all ages! But what’s the matter with men and painting? There are no more male painters? Silvia is the mother of all. Organizes, delegates serves and supports. In Silvia’s workshop everybody is tired of painting from images found on the Internet. So we are all here together with some volunteers to pose and take all the pictures we want in the way we want to paint after all the paintings we want. Silvia brought costumes from all ages and colors and still-life props. Some of the girls brought curtains so nobody can see us from the outside. The catering was quite minimal and we just had mate. The procession of models was long and varied. But oddly enough, amongst so many girls, we didn’t even have one brave enough to strip naked so that we could have that nude model that so badly wanted to paint. At best a shoulder, a knee, or at the very most, a full back. We wanted to shout: “Take oooff everythiiiiiiiiiiiing!” But nothing. They were volunteers…we have no budget to pay for a professional model. We finished around 10 PM loading thousand of belongings in Silvia’s car.
